Dr. Robert Remis is a urologist in private practice. In addition to practicing general urology, he specializes in urinary incontinence problems in women and men and robotic and laparoscopic urological cancer surgery. He is based at Boone Hospital Center and Columbia Regional Hospital. These skills are reflected in Dr. Remis’s involvement with several medical supply companies. He is an instructor and consultant for female and male incontinence surgery products and participates with product research and design for one of the companies. Dr. Remis’s greatest strengths are his commitment and wide range of experience. Just as important, Dr. Remis enjoys his job, particularly successfully dealing with patient problems. Dr. Remis gained his medical degree at the University Of Oklahoma College Of Medicine. He completed his surgical and urological residency at the University of Oklahoma Teaching Hospitals and VA Hospital in Oklahoma City. Dr. Remis is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association, the Missouri State Medical Association, and the Boone County Medical Society. Dr. Remis lives in Columbia with his wife, Jackie, and their three children. When not working, Dr. Remis likes to travel, golf, and watch Big 12 sports (Go OU!).
