Comprehensive Treatment Methods Available
Once incontinence has been correctly diagnosed, successful treatment can begin.


Behavioral Modification
Bladder training to manage leakage—including a voiding schedule and help with techniques to reduce frequency.

Dietary
Fluid and dietary management. Sometimes a simple change in diet or elimination of certain beverages can help incontinence.

Biofeedback Techniques
Assists in identifying and strengthening pelvic muscles.

Surgical
Various surgical procedures, as well as collagen injection treatments, are available if necessary.

Medication
Certain drugs can tighten or strengthen urethral and pelvic floor muscles. Other medications can calm overactive bladder muscles.

More frequently, treatment involves a combination of medication, behavioral modification, pelvic muscle floor reeducation, collection devices, and/or absorbent products.
